Terms and Conditions
1.1. You” or “your” refers to the passenger to whom the services are offered and provided.
1.2. “We”, “us” or “our” refers to Unitrans Passenger (Pty) Ltd including all its subsidiaries and operating divisions.
1.3. “The service” means the transport services provided by us, which includes providing a suitable vehicle, a driver and, where required, a driver’s assistant.
1.4. You may make reservations during our office working hours: Mondays to Fridays from 7h30 to 16h00.

2. The Quote
2.1. Your acceptance of our quote must be in writing.
2.2. You acknowledge and agree that –
2.2.1. all quotes we provide are for transport only and excludes all other fees such as entrance fees, which are payable by you;
2.2.2. the quoted rates are subject to fuel and statutory increases. We will give you prior reasonable notice of such increases; and
2.2.3. if you accept our quote subject to these terms and conditions, payment must be made prior to departure.
3.1. You acknowledge and agree that –
3.1.1. The service is subject to the vehicle being available at the time of confirmation of your reservation;
3.1.2. you must pay the driver’s accommodation and meals, as set out in the quote;
3.1.3. a driver must be accommodated in a single room and is not allowed to share a room;
3.1.4. you must pay the fees for porters where such porters are used at drop offs and collections at all airports and hotels;
3.1.5. all vehicles must be returned by 22h30. If you require the use of a vehicle after 22h30, you will be required to pay a further fee of R500.00,
3.2. We will make the details of the driver and the vehicle available 24 hours prior to departure.
3.3. If you want to cancel an advance booking, we may charge you a reasonable cancellation fee which will not exceed –
3.3.1. 10% of the total fee payable for the Services, provided that we receive notice of the cancellation at least 7 (seven) days before the date of departure;
3.3.2. 50% of the total fee payable for the Service if we receive notice of cancellation less that 7 (seven) days before departure.
3.4. NO SMOKING is allowed on vehicles
3.5. We may make use of other vehicles, if due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control our own vehicles are not available. The vehicle used as a substitution will compare equally with our own vehicles in style, comfort and reliability.
4. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
4.1. It is your responsibility to insure your luggage and its contents. Except to the extent that we acted with gross negligence or fraudulent intent, we will not be liable or responsible for any lost or damaged luggage or loss or damage to the contents of the luggage.
